2005 Christmas Wreath |
For many years, Scott’s mom bought us an ornament each Christmas.
Quite a few of those ornaments were pewter and came in little velour drawstring baggies.
I always looked forward to what the new one would be that year. They seemed to become more detailed with each passing year and even a little more colorful as they began to add the red-toned jewels.

I love displaying these on my tree. From our 2nd married Christmas until the year before we were approved as missionaries, they each hold a special memory of, what seems like, another lifetime ago.
Our life is so different now, that our time in the States seems like a distant memory. So, it is nice to have these treasures to hold onto and reminisce about at Christmastime.
We have been painting the inside of our house starting this past weekend and our living and dining rooms have this homey feel since completing the painting in those rooms.

2007 Santa's Sleigh |
With our Christmas decorations displayed, and our living room all cozy and freshly painted, we are enjoying our family evenings just sitting around and sharing stories of “Remember the time...”
Christmas is definitely a time to remember and reminisce about the past, and in so doing, I hope we will also reawaken and reignite our passion and love for Christ!
